I'm a little technologically-impaired myself and about all I can tell you is that my ranking on Technorati.com has continued to climb and more people are seeing my link because this matrix of url's is on my website. From what I understand, you just post it somewhere on your website, either in a static location or as a post (which is what I did). When someone copies it off your website they often comment or you'll get notification that a new link is coming in to your website, and I go to that website and cut and paste their url and edit one of the Viral Tag spots with their url.
